Its versus it's

It was bad enough before autocorrect came along, but autocorrect has really run this one to the ground.
If you're referring to the possessive pronoun, there's nothing missing, and you should not have an apostrophe: "The puppy keeps chasing its tail."
If you're shortening, "it is," you want the contraction: "It's just another Monday."
